Hi! I’m Dr. Shelley Meyer! My colleague Angie and I started this blog to address the much-needed topic of Perimenopause. We work with women every day in our functional medicine practice who are frustrated and confused about hormone changes they are experiencing in their late 30s to early 50s. We felt there needed to be a complete resource and guide solely dedicated to these years and helping you to have a better perimenopause and menopause transition!
To this blog we bring years of working with women to guide them in lifestyle change, nutrition, herbs, vitamins, essential oils, and exercise support to help them feel their best and reclaim their health! Between us Shelley is a functional medicine physician, registered dietitian/nutritionist, family doctor, and menopausal woman, and Angie is a functional medical assistant, herbalist, essential oil specialist, and fellow perimenopausal woman. We have been through it, we are here to help you arrive on the other side wiser and empowered!
